Eric Avery Returns To Jane’s Addiction Next Up The Road
Alot of shit went down in 97 none of which I really remember clearly except when the Jane’s Addiction Relapse tour was announced on MTV that summer. It would be the first time the band had played together since they broke up in 1991. I had hoped for a reunion since 95 when my friend Adan turned me on to the band. The one exception no Eric Avery on bass due to his work with his new band Polar Bear. The band asked Flea to take his place for the short east to west coast tour, that started on Halloween night in New York and ended in SF at the mind bending E.N.I.T festival. So now we are in the age of Aquarius the 21st century and Jane’s Addiction has returned united with all its original members who are rumored to be working in the studio with Trent Reznor. They hit the road this May with NIN and Tom Morello and Boots Riley’s new band Streetsweeper. Enjoy the Classic Jane’s Joint My Fave Three Days Below
