Fountains of Wayne go Acoustic in S.F
I jumped into the ride and took a trip down to the S.F to catch a show. My buddy and I are both really big Fountains of Wayne fans and we both feel they are one of the best power pop bands to come out in the last decade. Although some might pan them due to the success of their single Stacey’s Mom which was a great song/video but by no means is that song the yardstick to judge the band by if your sitting in your critics chair.
FOW setlist Cafe De Nord
In anycase the band played an acoustic set at Cafe De Nord to a sold out crowd. Once again I made some moves and snagged the setlist they played a few new tracks and let everyone know their working on a new album. Enjoy a snippet of Hey Julie one of my favorite tracks of their third album Interstate Managers.
